SQUAMISH GENERAL HOSPITAL – EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT

Medical care is available at SGH Emergency Department 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you have been sexually assaulted, you may choose a forensic exam to gather evidence that may be used in court regardless of whether you report the assault to the police at this time. A Sexual Assault Nurse Examine (SANE) is available on-call o administer the exam (more commonly known as a “rape kit”). The exam can be performed up to seven days after the assault. It is recommended to call ahead to the ER (604-892-6054).
Services are free and confidential. No Carecard (MSP) is needed.
