A telephone advice service by Legal Services Society that provides legal advice and support to assist clients representing themselves with family law issues. In addition to legal advice, the Family LawLINE provides: appointments with the same lawyer; assistance preparing documents; coaching to help you represent yourself through all stages of court and other collaborative processes.
Family LawLINE can arrange for an interpretor if needed.

If you have a family law issue, you may qualify for help from family duty counsel (FDC) or a family advice lawyer, even if you do not qualify for legal aid lawyer. These services are intended to assist people with low incomes who are representing themselves in court. There is a maximum amount of time that these lawyers can spend assisting you. A drop-in service provided on a first come, first served basis.
