SQUAMISH GENERAL HOSPITAL – EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT
38140 Behrner Drive, Squamish
Medical care is available at SGH Emergency Department 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you have been sexually assaulted, you may choose a forensic examination to gather evidence that may be used in court regardless of whether you report the assault to the police at this time. A female on-call nurse is available Monday-Friday to administer the exam (more commonly known as a “rape kit”). The exam can be performed up to seven days after the assault.
Services are free and confidential. No Carecard (MSP) is needed.

Female on-call doctors and nurses are available at VGH 24/7 to provide confidential and sensitive care for youth (13 and older) and adults who have been sexually assaulted within seven days of presenting to hospital.
Services are free and confidential. No Carecard (MSP) is needed.
