Working together to design HWSC’s future direction.
Planning for the next five years of Howe Sound Women’s Centre Society starts now and we want to hear from you!
The Howe Sound Women’s Centre Society (HSWC) is dedicated to the prevention of violence against women, children, gender-diverse, non-binary, Two Spirit and trans people. As the only service provider in the Sea-to-Sky Corridor working to prevent gender-based violence from an intersectional feminist perspective, we offer unique services to those who have experienced violence or abuse.
We are ending our current five-year strategic plan and want to create a new plan that reflects the voices of past and present service users, employees, volunteers, the Board of Directors, funders, and community partners.
We want to include YOUR voice in this plan.
We’re looking to understand from you:
- What is working about the services we currently provide at HSWC?
- How can our services grow and improve to best serve this community?
- What should we consider as we plan for the next five years?
How can I share my ideas?
You can share your vision for HSWC through our online survey online survey between April 26 – June 30, 2023. We expect this survey will take about 10-15 minutes to complete.
You can also join us at one of our community conversations:
- In-person on May 2, 2023 (drop-in between 2-4pm) at our Squamish drop-in centre
- Online on May 31, 2023 (from 6:30-8pm) – Register here.
You can also contact us directly with questions or ideas by emailing email@example.com
How will you use my feedback?
Your feedback, privacy and safety are very important to us. We will keep your responses confidential.
Any feedback you provide will be used to help us understand the priorities, needs, and aspirations of the communities we serve. We will use your input to shape our future plans and direction, along with other community feedback and organizational planning considerations.
Thank you in advance! Your feedback will help us provide support where and when it is needed most.
